A hilarious attempt at reviewing whiskies and other imbibes, the broads take the seriousness of spirits and wash it down with a mouthful of wit and sarcasm. Friends since a young age, the two have grown to interact and banter well. The story behind the Broads of Bourbon spans all the way back twenty years to when the ladies starred in their first play together. Always acting, always joking, always captivating their peers with their horrible impersonations and awkward conversations. Flash forward to present time during a late-night Christmas eve bar conversation over whiskey, and the concept of the Bourbon vloggers was born. The idea was to create a vlog that encompassed their favorite past times; whiskey, comedy, and Hall & Oates. Together with their powers combined, this lady duo is taking the world by storm one review spoof at a time. A hodgepodge of ridiculousness, catch these two on youtube!
The first undeclared sneaker head of her time, Mary was part of her own one-woman dance group on the elementary play-ground known as (Sneaky-FEET). A couple of missteps and over calculated electric slides led to a chance meeting between Mary and Delilah in the school cafeteria. The bond was instant. Cemented with friendship necklaces and bad impersonations, they knew they were going places. Mary is a collection of everything stereotypical and thought that riding a Razor scooter was cool up until she went to college. Her favorite past times include: googling schnoodles, solving murder mysteries in Cabot Cove, gold prospecting, and singing 80s ballads. She also loves: puns, boba, Wes Anderson movies, and very passive aggressively accusing people of using her bar of soap.
An eighties baby born into a nomadic family in a town at the foot of the Sierra Nevadas. Spent my mornings watching MTV “The Grind” before throwing on my L.A. Gears and taking my journey through the tumbleweeds to get to school. The same school I would meet my fellow broad and best friend. Bowl cuts, Beavis and butthead impersonations, and pogs are where we begin our bond. Pan to twenty years later in the city of bright lights and vices, Las Vegas; where our bond would become bourbon and dive bars on Christmas eve. The same city I went through my top gun phase riding a street bike to my flight lessons (that came with complimentary aviators). Always craving adventure eventually lead to traveling from country to country to pursue snowboarding and mountain biking on as many mountains my bank account would allow. All of these elements combined have made me who I am today. A world traveling whiskey enthusiast that makes terrible jokes, enjoys a late night fourth meal, and has been known to sleep talk with stuffed animals.
